Challenge
This client faced the challenge of renovating all meeting rooms in its Research & Innovation Center in Utrecht with uniform audio/visual and content sharing solutions. The rooms ranged from small huddle rooms to large boardrooms, and the desire was to implement a single, consistent solution that would be easy to use and maintain, regardless of the room's size.
Solutions
Discorp implemented the Customer’s Global Standard:
- Small/informal spaces: ‘Bring Your Own Meeting’ via USB-C
- Larger spaces: Microsoft Teams Rooms
Discorp selected and coordinated the appropriate hardware in consultation with distributors, suppliers and internal teams.
The selected hardware ensures that every room offers the same user experience.
- Displays: Sony BZ40L (55”, 65”, 75”, 98”) – high brightness for rooms with lots of daylight
- Audio/video: Logitech Meetup2, Rally Bar (Mini), Tap controller, Tap Scheduler
- Professional A/V: Q-Sys, Crestron, Shure, Audac – for demanding spaces such as boardrooms and presentation rooms
Collaboration
The customer wanted hardware that was intuitive for end-users and easy to manage for the internal IT department. Thanks to a smart combination of hardware, Discorp was able to fully achieve this objective. Every room feels familiar in terms of look, feel and operation.
According to the client, Discorp distinguishes itself through its creative and solution-oriented approach. Thanks to efficient communication, the collaboration with all parties involved went very smoothly.
The Discorp project team ensured precise coordination with all stakeholders and contractors involved. This included setting up direct meetings with external parties such as the general contractor, Facilities, and technical teams. This kind of direct alignment, often without the client acting as intermediary, proved crucial to the smooth execution of the renovation project.
In addition, Discorp won this client’s trust with fair and transparent pricing, which contributed to a successful and sustainable partnership.
