(Junior) AV & IT Technician

Job description


As an AV Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ audiovisual systems running smoothly.

Many of our clients have international branches, so travel is a welcomed aspect of your role. Preventive maintenance will be one of your primary responsibilities, but you’ll also dive into troubleshooting to resolve issues as they arise. Alongside your team, you’ll identify problems and aim to address them efficiently, maximizing available resources. You’ll be part of a supportive Service Team, always able to rely on your colleagues for insights and expertise.


This role offers plenty of variety, challenges, and exposure to cutting-edge technology. With a hands-on approach, you’ll also serve as a Discorp representative during AV installations at customer sites in Belgium and occasionally abroad. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. An affinity for the ICT industry will be highly valuable in this role.

Profile


  • You hold a degree in Electricity/Electronics/Domotica or ICT (or equivalent through experience)
  • Experience with installation and assembly work is a plus
  • You are in possession of a type B driver's license
  • You can work problem-solving, in a team or independently
  • You can think analytically and have practical technical insight into electronics and ICT
  • You have a hands-on mentality
  • You have experience or knowledge in the technical development and realisation of AV and ICT projects, programming and knowledge of networks
  • You are eager to learn and have the ambition to expand your existing skills. You also want to keep up to date with the latest trends and new products
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English. French is a plus
  • Junior ICT & AV profiles are also eligible
  • Experience with ICT and/or audiovisual products is a plus
  • Foreign assignments do not scare you off

Place of employment


The head office is located in Wijnegem. Installations and maintenance assignments are carried out at our customers in Belgium and Europe.
