There’s a boardroom scenario most AV and IT pros will recognize: a high-end executive room, a camera installed in a hurry and an auto-framing system that spends the entire call slowly, confidently tracking a potted plant in the corner instead of the people around the table.
That’s the context worth keeping in mind when looking at Logitech’s new Rally AI Camera lineup. Not as a spec sheet exercise, but as an answer to the kind of real-room frustrations that end up in your ticket queue. The core promise here is aimed squarely at the problems that make large room deployments harder than they should be.
The Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro are designed for the spaces where getting it wrong is most expensive: boardrooms, town halls and executive suites. The features Logitech has built around those environments are worth a closer look.
What's actually new here
The Rally AI Camera line is an evolution of Logitech’s original Rally Camera. These two new models don’t only just update the hardware, but entirely rethink what a room camera is supposed to do.
Both cameras have custom-designed lenses with a one-inch imaging sensor and 115-degree field of view, capable of capturing 4K video even in low-light conditions. That’s a meaningful spec for executive rooms where lightning is often sacrificed for aesthetics. However, the hardware is really just the foundation.
The more interesting story is RightSight 2, Logitech’s AI-powered framing. It automatically switches between a group view, individual speaker focus and a grid layout, in real time, without anyone touching a remote.
Then there’s the installation story, which is often where large room deployment gets complicated. Both cameras support ceiling, wall, display, and for the first time in the Rally lineup, in-wall mounting.
Finally, both cameras feed occupancy and usage data into Logitech Sync, Logitech’s remote management platform. That means that IT teams get visibility into which rooms are actually being used, automatic room booking and release based on real presence detection and remote deployment/troubleshooting without needing to be on-site.
The honest bottom line
The Rally AI Camera lineup is asking the right questions. The design decisions (in wall mounting, physical privacy shutter, Camera Zone constraints, occupancy detection) suggest an engineering team that’s spent time in the rooms these cameras are meant to serve, not just in a lab. The specs are competitive. The integration story with Teams, Zoom and Logitech Sync is coherent. And the price point, for what’s being offered in the large room category is hard to argue with.
The Rally AI Camera Pro will be available from spring 2026 for €2,999 including VAT. The Rally AI Camera will be available from summer 2026 for €2,499 including VAT. Both models are available in graphite and off-white.
